Hi, I’m Artem. I write code, learn fast, and don’t shy away from building things that look scary at first — and actually work in the end (most of the time, anyway).
My journey into development started with basic HTML and CSS. Then came JavaScript, followed by jQuery and Bootstrap — tools that helped me make websites that didn’t look like a high school PowerPoint presentation. Once I realized that data is king, I dove into SQL. After that, the path got more exciting: Java for cross-platform apps, PostgreSQL, and even a detour through .NET and C#. The latter didn’t stick — wrestling with dependency chaos was not my idea of fun.
That’s when Python entered the scene. Clean, elegant, readable — and my current main language. This website? Built partly with Python, too.
Right now, I’m serving in the Israel Defense Forces, working as a classified electronic systems technician. It’s a mix of physics, electronics, and code — a rare combo that gives me hands-on experience with both hardware and software. It’s not just screens and scripts; it’s the real world responding to lines of code.
I’m studying at the Open University of Israel — Computer Science with a cybersecurity focus. The coursework hardens my foundations in algorithms, networks, and security engineering, and I apply that mindset directly to the systems I build.
Alongside service, I keep developing as a programmer — learning new tech, building projects, writing about the process, and laying the groundwork for my future. This site is my digital trail: a portfolio, a blog, a place to share and grow. Not just a checkbox — but a statement of movement, curiosity, and a love for making things work.
Take a look at my projects, check out the blog, and if something clicks — I’d be happy to hear from you. The contact page is just a click away.
